Best Time to Visit:
The best time to undertake the Chardham Yatra is during the summer months, typically from April/May to June. During this period, the weather is relatively pleasant, and the pilgrimage sites are accessible after the winter snow has melted. The monsoon season (July to September) is to be avoided due to heavy rains, landslides, and the risk of flash floods. The Chardham Yatra sites are also closed during the winter months due to heavy snowfall.
